During the past year the Life Is Beautiful campaign (LIB) has been conducted through a series of special events throughout Vietnam and overseas which included intensive weekly TV reportage regarding issues faced by peo-ple with disabilities, the development of a website containing thousands of touching stories and an online dona-tion system, supported by a multitude of generous donors and sponsors.
Highlights from the past year (April, 2010 to April 2011) include:

The Journey

In order to promote the top 10 program models for effectively supporting people with disabilities (PWDs) as well as highlighting the problems they face, LIB has held 2 live performances, 3 auctions, 2 PWDs product shows, developed 1 website and broadcast 52 TV programs.

The Donations

The total amount of funds as contributed by donors (including individual donations, organizational donations and in-kind donations) throughout Vietnam and overseas reached $381,446.43.

More than 2,000 people with disabilities benefited from funds raised through direct-support and funding for selected program models
