How to Use this Table:
(1) Choose from among the 10 program goals in the table below the goal that meets your funding objectives.
(2) Trace down the column to find the organization(s) which are implementing a program with that goal.
(3) Find the name of the organization and the provinces where it runs its program in the list at right.

How These Programs Were Discovered, Assessed and Ranked:
The East Meets West Foundation contacted 43 organizations which provide services to people with disabilities in Vietnam. Each organization was invited to provide detailed information on its programs. Twenty-four of the 43 organizations replied with information which EMWF staff compiled into comprehensive descriptions of 30 different programs. Each of these program descriptions was verified and confirmed by the respective organization.

An independent panel of five Vietnamese & international experts in economics, healthcare, development and disabilities was formed and and they agreed on criteria for selecting effective & efficient programs. After removing all identification, the panel reviewed, evaluated and ranked each of the 30 programs. The table presents the top ten programs. A program may appear more than once if it serves two or more goals.
