Pham Thi Thanh Thuy was born in 2002 with a mobility disability. She is now living with her parents who are both 46 years old and three bothers and sisters in Group 8 Da Son, Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang.

Ly is a 9 year old girl who is studying in the 3nd grade in Hoa Quy Primary school. Although she tried to live like an average girl, Ly has had terrible problems with her eyes since she was born. There are four members in her family and her father works as a bricklayer.  Ly’s mother is also disabled and stays at home to care for her children. They are living in poverty.

Tran Van Nguyen is living in Binh Thuan with his family of 5 members in a temporary house. Life is always hard in this village, but it is even harder as Nguyen is a disabled person due to blindness and cerebral palsy.

In Phu Yen, a southern province of Vietnam, Thuong and his wife Diem eagerly awaited the birth of each of their three beautiful daughters, Nhan, Dong and Hoa.  However, soon after birth all three babies showed symptoms of the same debilitating condition, scoliosis. Thuong and Diem are truly dedicated to helping their daughters and want to find any way to alleviate their increasingly severe pain.

A little girl named Duyen is only 4 and living in the poor mountainous region of Ninh Binh province where there exists a lot of poverty.  Unfortunately, she was born mentally retardarded and her body is so weak that she cannot even sit up
