Hoang Thi Thao was born with polio  in 2004. She lives in Bac Giang with her parents and her little brother. Thao’s disability makes her entirely  unable to move so 7-year-old child is unable to play or go to school with other children. In fact, her polio is so severe that she is not even able to dress or feed herself.

Trang is a six-year-old girl who was born with polio. She is living with her parents in a basic house in Bac Giang and the three of them are struggling to get by. Unemployed and suffering from their own medical issues, her parents are not able to provide little Trang with medical attention or therapy that she badly needs

Le Ngoc Thanh Dieu lives in Binh Thuan province. Even though now she is just 7 years old, she is suffering from the painful burdens of heart disease.
Born with her condition, she is totally reliant on her family for help with day-to-day tasks.
 

In a small village in Ninh Binh province, there is a little girl named Le Thi Ngoc Lan who was born with a number of debilitating medical conditions. Although Lan is seven years old now, she weighs only six kilograms and is deprived of the activities that most children her age can take for granted. Unable to speak or move by herself, Lan is facing the challenges of mental retardation and polio.

Vu Thi Diep was born in a poor family in Bac Giang. She has been living with polio and a speaking disability from birth. Her parents, who earn only 20 USD per month from their fields, struggle every day to make ends meet. Some days, they go hungry Diep has a little sister and the two of them are facing a life of malnutrition and no education
