In a family of four at Trai Chay, Quy Son, Luc Ngan, there is a 53 year old woman named Dinh Thi Luan. Living with her husband and children, Luan has been suffering from her mobility disability as a consequence of war.
Due to her dreadful health condition, Luan cannot work to support her family. She has difficulty mobilizing half of her body. She is unable to self-serve and almost always relies on the help of her family members in everyday life. Not only has her disability caused problems for her, Luan also tolerates many other diseases: peripheral nervous system problems, kidney stones, and high blood pressure. Life is even tougher for the family as two more members are in bad health. Luan’s husband is now at the age of 60 and is suffering from his leg atrophy, while Luan’s 27 year old child lost 25% of his labor power and usually experiences abnormal emotions. The family is now almost completely dependent on the agricultural work of the other 24 year old child. Carrying such a weight and being responsible for the wellbeing of three members is definitely a difficult task for the kid.
Luan and her family would be deeply grateful to receive a monthly support and health checks for the members in order to lighten the hard work for her child as well as to live in better conditions.
