In Dien Bien Province lives a little boy named Son, aged 11. He was born into a family of four. Son is the only one who suffers from epilepsy from birth.
Although Son is not as normal as other children, he tries to catch up with them. Son has overcome his disability to attend school and make friends. Recently, he is a 5th grade student in Thanh Binh primary school. Sadly, sometimes he falls into convulsive fits, which not only hurts himself but also his parents. Son’s family is poor. His parents work hard to manage medicine for him. However, with their little money, Son’s disease will never be cured completely. It is this epileptic disease which makes Son’s study fraught with difficulty. Whenever Son’s convulsive attacks happen, Son has to drop out of the class.
He wishes to continue his studies as other normal children around him. Your assistance will help Son in purchasing medicine. Living free from disease will brings a better chance for him to study and have a brighter future. His family is extremely grateful for any assistance.
