Luong Thu Trang is a 10 year old disabled girl who has to struggle with four kinds of disability: mobility, voice, poliomeytilis, and cerebral palsy. She lives with her family including her 34 year old parents and one sibling in Lai Chau province.
Trang’s congenital disbilities have taken away her chance to have a normal life. At the age of 10, she should be going to school, but that’s totally out of the question for her. With her limbs deformed, she can’t move, and she doesn’t have the ability to learn at school. In addition, everytime the weather changes, her body aches terribly. Her daily activities all depend on her mother’s help since she needs other's assistance to meet her needs like bathing, eating and drinking. Her mother is a farmer, but she never has enough time to work because she has to take care of Trang. It’s a heavy burden to place on her shoulders since she suffers from heart disease which makes her very weak. Hence, the whole family lives on her father’s meager income. He’s a building worker and earns 75 USD a month. They receive hardly any financial aid from the community.
Trang's parents plan to open a small shop, but they need a starting capital of about 500 USD. Your donation can help remove the financial burden from their shoulders.
