Le Hoang Truc Nhi:
Nhi is an 11 year old from Lien Chieu district in Vietnam. She suffers mobility issues due to cerebral palsy which occurred at birth. She lives with her mother only, as her father has left the family. As the only provider in the family, Nhi’s mother works hard to provide only 70 USD per month.
Nhi’s condition has improved over the past few years with surgeries to her heel and knee. Now that she has less pain, she can spend more time at school. It is difficult for her to find transportation and her mother has to take her there every day limiting her ability to work.
With a donation of only 60 USD, Nhi plans on buying a wheelchair which will greatly increase her mobility. With this life improvement, she will be able to relieve the burden from her mother and get to school by herself. This small amount will create a great positive change for not only Nhi but her mother as well.
